WICKED RATTLE - SOLVED

SINCE I bought the car, and although it drove well, I always had a wicked rattle up front left side. If I touched the brakes, it would go away.

I figured it was a brake pad or caliper related problem, but it was very loud, sounded like a box of marbles every time I hit a bump.

A few nights a go, I pulled off the front left wheel, and removed the caliper. Every thing looked ok.  Then I took out the BFH (big f-in hammer) and started to tap around, to see if I could mimic the noise. Low and behold, when I tapped the sway bar, there was that marble noise.

Turns out, it was a really worn and broken sway bar link.  I replaced the part on both sides with a new set of MOOG sway bar links - now its silent over bumps.  What a difference.......
