15 MARCH 2005:  THE MOTIF AT THE WRIST IS GONE, AND THE COLLAR BARBS ARE RIGHT TO THE EDGE OF THE COLLAR.

 

          

                              

Just to compare, my sweater (top pic) and a competitor's on the picture with my car.  Notice that my double-weights are way heavier than the sweater in the car picture.  This should answer a few queries.
The doubleknit weighs about 6 pounds - it definitely is not thin.

 

ORDERING INFORMATION AND PRICING:

Sweaters are available in  DOUBLE WEIGHT ONLY.   Delivery is between 4 to 5 weeks, from the time payment is received. If a delay is encountered for whatever reason, you will be notified promptly.

As far as going with a larger size it would depend how much you want to put on under the sweater. If you want to put on a sweatshirt or another lighter weight sweater underneath then, yes, let me know and we will make the adjustment if you just give us the measurements as they would NORMALLY be. The measurements are A) total girth around the widest part of body. B) -length from nape of neck and down back to where you want the sweater to come. C) length from nape of neck to wrist where you want the sweater to come, please bend elbow to get the total length needed as that will give you slightly more than if you measure your arm straight. D) also cross arms over chest and measure from wrist (where you want sleeve to come) to wrist across back and shoulders to get an extra good fit E) you might also want to measure around cuff DIAMETER and F)-comfortable around armhole DIAMETER from armpit over shoulder (not tight, but the way you would like it to fit (this measurement can also be taken from another sweater that fits well. The original colors are natural white (ivory), natural gray (a slightly beigey gray) and natural black (a dark brown, which is as black as a sheep actually gets).
